We were so pleased with the service we received from Natalie and Ken when we decided to list our house. They were both very helpful and responsive to our questions, and worked diligently on our behalf. Their knowledge of the
neighborhood and familiarity with older homes enabled them to make the most of each "showing" of the house. Much to our surprise, we had several offers to review in only 8 days! Working with the Catbagan/ Neith team gave us
confidence during the entire process of selling our first home.

Dear Natalie,
We would like to thank you for all you and Ken did to facilitate the recent sale of our house in Historic West Adams. We really appreciated your being there at every turn and twist and making sure that things went as smoothly as possible during this difficult process. Even though we felt that the t’s got crossed several times each and the i’s were dotted to excess, we know that this was necessary to make all of this happen.
Since we did have a comparison with our buying here in the Desert, we would like to also compliment you on your choice of Escrow Companies. Progressive also did a professional job of handling all the myriad papers and changes that had to be done.
We wish you the best in your continued success in Realty and especially in handling the wonderful old homes of West Adams.
Sincerely,
Judie and Alan Schoening

Hey Natalie:
I just wanted to drop you a quick e-mail to say thanks again for all your help getting me into my first home (I should have done so earlier, but as you can imagine, I have been busy busy busy). Having heard so many horror stories about the process, I was a bit hesitant, but everything went so smoothly. You and Ken were so helpful and knowledgeable. Having you there really eased my nerves and took a lot of the burden off of me. I especially appreciate the many Saturday, Sunday and weeknight emergency "I have to make an offer on this one today!" trips you made out to Eagle Rock and Highland Park. I ended up in the perfect house and neighborhood for me. I've been singing your praises to all my friends and co-workers so you may be getting some calls soon.
Thanks again for everything (and to Ken too!)
Mike

Natalie along with her partner Ken and assistant Tameka are an awesome team! They are very knowledgeable about the neighborhoods we were looking in and were there every step of the way including keeping me informed of the current real estate market. Natalie never made me feel like just another client. Rather she made me feel like I was a friend she was helping out. During the offer and negotiations she never pushed or pressured me in one direction. Natalie always explained to me the options and the pros and cons of each and left it for me and my husband to decide. Once we decided which direction to take she supported our decision and did everything she could to get us the deal we were after. We are very happy with the way things turned out and are glad we found Natalie who made looking for a house and purchasing a home a positive experience.

Hi Natalie,
Because I had such a pleasant experience buying my home from you(as the selling agent), I wanted to work with you again to sell my home. There were some difficulties with my tenants but with your expertise and knowledge, you helped me with my situation and sell my home to a wonderful person that will truly love this home.
And, now that I've been promoted as a Group Sales Manager, I'll definitely need your help again when Deano and I buy our new home together as a couple, hopefully by the end of this year!
Thank you once again for your help!

To Whom It May Concern:
Two years ago a good friend of ours recommended we contact Natalie Neith and Ken Catbagan. We had wanted to buy a home in the mid city area of Los Angeles and we had been looking for a couple of months. Until we talked to Natalie and Ken, we were not very optimistic about our prospects of buying a larger home at a price we could afford.
A couple of days after talking to Natalie, she sent us a number of places to look at and we were off to the races. Soon thereafter, we saw a home that we loved but thought we had little chance of being able to afford. We made an offer and that’s when Natalie and Ken’s expertise really paid off.
Negotiations became very complicated and Natalie and Ken helped us wade through a very difficult time. Without their help and support we would not have been able to make this purchase.
We also employed Natalie and Ken to help us sell out existing home and within the first week we had three offers and eventually sold the property at a price that surprised everyone in the neighborhood.
We have recommended Natalie and Ken to a number friends and colleagues. They are terrific people and know the market and the business well. We say that from experience. Our initial purchase more than 12 years ago was handled by a realtor who was a very nice guy but was a cream puff in negotiations. Consequently, we did not do as well as we thought we could have.
We plan to stay in our new home for a long time but if were interested in buying a new place or selling our home they would be the people we would turn to.
If you would like more information, we would be more than happy to talk to you.

Dear Natalie and Ken,
Well, the dust has settled on our home purchase and we finally have the time to send a personal thank you for helping us realize a dream that only recently seemed out of our reach.
As you know, we were at our wits end after seeing so many homes that were not only beyond our price range but too small to accommodate our growing family. We were about to give up when you came to the rescue and guided us toward options we never knew existed. And when push came to shove during those delicate negotiations and confusing real estate
particulars we always felt assured knowing you were there to protect our best interests at every step.
The end result is our big, beautiful house in historic West Adams that we love more and more each day. To say the least, you've left a lasting impression and we won't hesitate for a second to recommend you to our friends.
Sincerely,
The Lentini Family

It's two and a half months after the closing on the sale of our house and I'm finally getting to expressing how pleased I was with the services of Natalie Neith, our realtor, and her partner Ken Catbagan. Natalie and Ken's guidance, patience, wonderful sense of humor and great humanity made the experience not only doable, but extremely rewarding.
We were extremely nervous sellers, but Natalie...was the voice of reason in our storm of uncertainty once we decided to really sell. Broker's open houses, listings in more print media venues than we knew existed (and the web, too!) and then the onslaught of buyers. Within two weeks more than 20 groups had been through the house (five one evening alone) and we had two competing offers. Then the work began.
Natalie handled all of our questions intelligently, promptly, without ever seeming annoyed, and with a great sense of assurance that was a comfort to us every step of the way. Even unexpected last minute difficulties were handled extremely well. In summary during the whole proces of selling our house and closing the deal, Natalie was the linchpin of the entire operation. We could not have done it without her.
During the professional relationship we developed an extremely close personal relationship with Natalie and Ken. They are wonderful people, and they are two of the few things that we will truly miss upon leaving Los Angeles. Our admiration and friendship has only grown. We think that this is a true testament to Natalie and to Ken. They handled our business relationship with extreme professionalism, yet remained at heart warm and caring individuals that we are proud to know. To conclude, I have to say that I believe that Natalie has been a joy to work with. She made one of the most stressful events of anyone's life as reasonable as could be expected, and we came out great friends in the end. The realtor-seller relationship has been transcended by a much more wonderful interaction. We wish Natalie and Ken continued success.
Sincerely,
Loren and Elizabeth Smith

I'm writing this letter to commend one of the brokers in your office, Natalie Neith. She represented me last year in my search for a house. I had never bought a house before and was dreading the experience because of the generally bad press concerning real estate agents. According to some articles they're only slightly higher on the food chain than used car salesmen.
Natalie, however, was nothing like this. She was totally responsive to what I saw as my particular needs and yet was also quite good at gently pointing me in a more proper direction when my desires exceeded what was realistic. She is very knowledgeable in her chosen field and was always available when I had questions.
I feel that she worked hard to help me find the best possible house within my price range and I would not hesitate to have her reperesent me in the future.

In 1999, Natalie Neith, together with her colleague, Michelle Hanna, took on the difficult task of selling my home on Norton Avenue in Hancock Park. This was not an easy sale: my former home is not in a prime location.
Nevertheless, Ms Neith skillfully and knowledgeably dealt with the tasks and difficulties involved in trying to generate a reasonable office and taking it to a completed transaction.
I'm happy to recommend her services in selling your own property.

After three years, I am happy to say that we've finally found me a home!! I can't begin to thank you enough for your professionalism, your patience and just going above the call of duty. You have been more than my real estate agent, you have been a guardian angel, a supporter and most of all, my friend.
It's funny. I think back to the day that I walked into your office and said I wanted to lease a place and after a few months of looking, you were able to help me see the value in buying. Just as I said, ‘I don't think I can afford to buy a home,’ you assured me that if I could lease, I could buy.
From finding a lender to getting the sellers' agent in line, you have covered it all and again, I am truly grateful.
I didn't know three years ago that I would find myself preparing to move into my own townhouse. And couldn't have done it without your help.
Your services your follow-through organization in crossing all ‘t’s and dotting ‘i’s has helped to make this transition from renter homeowner a bit less stressful (it always somewhat stressful(smile).) But you ease the pain.
So, Natalie, thank you for everything. I couldn't have asked for a better agent. Thank you for my first home. And as we said, this is only the beginning. In a few years, we'll be upgrading to a house (smile.) And, I'll be sending my friends to you!

We found Natalie Neith through the Internet when we were considering relocating from Boston to Los Angeles. Initially, we made an appointment with her to see as many houses and neighborhoods as possible to get a feel for the market with her understanding that we weren't ready to buy yet, but would after we sold our property in Boston. Natalie was very generous with her time for the three days we were here and showed us many great houses all within our price range and educated us on the neighborhoods. She was very helpful, professional, and had a knack for asking us the right questions to find a house and neighborhood that would be right for us.
The first house she showed us turned out to be the one we fell in love with, and bought-even though we weren't planning to buy so quickly. We felt comfortable trusting Natalie with the difficult task ahead of negotiating this sale long distance. She exhibited an honesty, personableness, and expertise as well as a sense that she really liked her job, and working with people.
We returned to Boston and made an offer contingent upon the sale of our property. Even though the sale of our property didn't happen as soon as the seller here would have liked, Natalie, as a dual agent, found a way to negotiate and help each party get what they wanted, exhibiting patience, integrity, and diplomacy. Even though Natalie represented both the seller and us, we trusted that she would help make our dream-house ours. And she did. She has all the right qualities as a person and professional to make difficult negotiations go through. We are amazed at how easy the transaction actually went—easy for us because Natalie did all the work. She consistently kept us appraised of changing situations, explaining legalities, and nuances of the process so we had no surprises. We are doubtful we would be here now, living our dream, if we hadn't found Natalie.
Maybe even more important, Natalie and her husband, Ken have continued to be in touch after the sale, helping us feel at home, introducing us to neighbors, and providing us with valuable information and resources. She went well beyond the call of duty, coordinating contractors for us before we moved so we would have a badly needed new roof finished before we moved in.
Moving is not easy, and compounded with interstate relocation, and negotiating real estate transactions it can become traumatic. This why I will confidently recommend Natalie Neith to anyone who is looking for a real estate agent-because she's the best.

You're the greatest! I would like to thank you for all your help in the purchase of my house in the West Adams district. Buying a house is so stressful and you were extremely helpful at making the process go as smoothly as possible, especially in the light of the complication of running concurrent escrows. Your knowledge and assistance were invaluable and I really appreciate everything you did for me.

I would like to take a moment to commend your agent, Natalie Neith for doing an outstanding job in selling my house. From first to last, I could rely on her to keep her promises with regard to price, timeliness, and keeping mr informed of conditions in the sale of my house.
Eeven the smoothest sale can be difficult without a good agent, as I can attest from helping my seven children buy and sell houses over the last 34 years. Thus, I was quite surprised and more than pleased with what a good job Natalie and her partner, Ken Catbagan did in putting my house up for sale, getting a good price, and shepherding the sale through the complex and sometimes tedious process of negotiating, financing, government inspection and approval.
I can state with certainty that if the opportunity arises, I will recommend Fred Sands Realty, particularly Natalie and Ken, to anyone who has occasion to buy or sell real estate in Los Angeles

Dear Mr. MacEwen,
I wanted to take this opportunity to commend you on your fabulous Neith/Catbagan team and to tell you how they made our recent home purchase easy and informed. We met Natalie very briefly approximately six years ago through mutual friends and we knew of her expertise in the West Adams neighborhood and her activism in the WAHA. When we were ready to purchase our home, we knew we had to have her as our agent. When we contacted her, she treated us as old friends, and has aver since. Before we even began looking at homes, she sent us maps and information on the different neighborhoods and she even introduced us to Bunny Kretchmer at Washington Mutual Bank, who ultimately helped us get our loan. By the time we were approved for the loan, Natalie had such a good idea of the house we were looking for and showed them to us so efficiently that we only spent a few hours seeing homes.
The fourth house that we saw was so close to perfect that we made an offer. Natalie has such a good eye for originality and made sure to point everything out to us. She was even willing to advise us on how much we should offer based on the condition of the house, the location, and how much comparable homes have sold for. She suggested we get our building inspection immediately and obtain estimates on the costs of repairs. Because we were so empowered by her advice and information, we ended up negotiating $50,000 less than the seller was asking. She also insisted that we use Progressive Title Company/Westland Escrow who made sure that the closing and escrow went smoothly. Because of Natalie and Progressive Title/Westland Escrow, the entire process was so fast and effortless.
Natalie suggested that a home warranty insurance would be smart for such an old home, so we did purchase the “Security Home Warranty Plan”. After only two weeks of living here, we called them when our furnace failed. They were prompt, courteous, and got our problem fixed without any hassle. They even called us to make sure the problem was repaired and that everything was satisfactory.
Lastly, Natalie suggested that we obtain copies of all building and repair permits from the city, which we did. These revealed such a wealth of information and a glimpse of the history of our house. But the most important information that it contained was the fact that the architect was A.L. Haley. Upon further research, we discovered that he was commissioned by Dr. Roy Lanterman (of La Canada’s founding family) to build his family home which is now a museum and a historic building. He also designed many other homes, commercial buildings, and apartments in the Los Angeles area.
Again, Mr. MacEwen, I cannot express how pleased we are with the Neith/Catbagan team. Even after our purchase, they have provided valuable help in resources regarding repair, restoration, WAHA, and our HAHA neighborhood association.
Sincerely,
Carla and Orlando Sotelo
